Overview
A leading telehealth provider needed to rapidly scale remote patient monitoring and virtual care services through a secure, reliable, and fully managed mobility infrastructure.
The organization required thousands of Samsung tablets to be configured, paired with multiple Bluetooth healthcare peripherals, deployed directly to patients, and continuously managed throughout the device lifecycle — all while maintaining regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and a seamless patient experience.
ConnectUs delivered a fully integrated managed mobility solution supporting large-scale telehealth deployments, remote patient monitoring workflows, and ongoing device recovery and redeployment operations.
The result was a scalable telehealth mobility program that enabled the deployment of more than 20,000 connected healthcare devices nationwide.
Advanced Bluetooth Medical Device Integration — Configured and validated every Samsung tablet to pair with five different Bluetooth-enabled healthcare monitoring devices.
Samsung Knox Mobile Device Management — Securely enrolled, configured, and locked down all Android devices to the client's telehealth application environment.
Custom Healthcare Device Kitting — Devices and medical peripherals assembled into custom-branded patient kits.
End-to-End Lifecycle and Logistics Management — Managed device procurement, staging, inventory, shipping, reverse logistics, device sanitization, and re-kitting.
Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) Enablement — Supported EVV workflows for caregiver visit validation.
Health monitoring devices were configured to six different Bluetooth peripherals (BPM, stethoscope, scale, etc.). Plus, service was provided to return, sanitize and re-kit devices for the next patient. Health management required pairing diabetes monitors with Android devices and locking them down to the client app. Also provided electronic visit verifications and treatment log capabilities.
We configured each health monitoring device to seamlessly connect with up to six different Bluetooth medical peripherals, including blood pressure monitors, digital stethoscopes, weight scales, glucose meters, pulse oximeters, and thermometers. All devices were tested and validated to ensure stable data transmission and accurate readings.
Every Android device was locked into a secure single-app environment, giving patients access only to the client’s telehealth application. This prevented misuse, reduced support issues, and ensured full compliance with healthcare security standards.
We paired diabetes monitoring devices directly with Android tablets and phones, enabling automatic data capture and real-time synchronization with the client’s care platform — without manual input from patients.
We implemented electronic visit verification to confirm caregiver visits and remote check-ins, helping the client meet payer and regulatory requirements while improving care transparency.
We enabled secure treatment logs and activity tracking so clinicians could monitor patient engagement, medication adherence, and care outcomes in one centralized system.
