About the Role

ConnectUs is seeking a dynamic Director of Enterprise Solutions Sales to lead, coach, and scale a high-performance team of hunter sales executives focused on Managed Mobility Services (MMS) and enterprise hardware solutions.

This leader will be responsible for driving net-new business growth, overseeing a team selling complex, multi-layered solutions that combine hardware (cellular routers, smartphones, tablets, laptops, and peripherals) with software, provisioning, logistics, MDM, and full lifecycle services.

The right candidate has proven success leading solution-oriented sales teams in long-cycle, enterprise environments, with the ability to implement structure, accountability, and scalable sales processes while also engaging directly with key customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Coaching: Recruit, develop, and mentor a team of hunter solution sellers, driving consistent quota attainment through skill development and accountability.
  • New Business Growth: Set clear expectations for outbound prospecting and self-sourced pipeline creation while enabling reps with the tools, training, and support to win.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Build and execute go-to-market strategies for MMS + hardware, ensuring alignment with ConnectUs’ overall growth goals.
  • Partner Alignment: Work closely with carrier and OEM partners (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Samsung, Lenovo, Cradlepoint, etc.) to co-sell and amplify sales opportunities.
  • Process & Discipline: Establish and enforce best practices for pipeline management, forecasting, deal reviews, and CRM usage.
  • Enterprise Engagement: Actively participate in high-value enterprise opportunities as an executive sponsor, helping navigate complex buying committees and multi-stakeholder deals.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Drive performance through KPIs (pipeline coverage, conversion ratios, new logos, average deal size) and report results to executive leadership.
  • Culture Builder: Foster a high-energy, accountable, and collaborative sales culture that attracts and retains A-players.

Top Traits We’re Looking For

  • Sales Leadership DNA: Proven ability to build and scale enterprise solution sales teams in technology or mobility industries.
  • Hunter Orientation: Instills a new-business-first mentality in the team—leading by example when needed.
  • Process Builder: Skilled at implementing structured sales methodologies (SPIN, MEDDICC, Challenger, etc.) to drive predictable results.
  • Cross-Functional Orchestrator: Able to align sales with carriers, OEMs, solution architects, marketing, and operations.
  • Strategic & Tactical Balance: Comfortable developing long-term strategy while rolling up sleeves to win critical deals.
  • Inspiring Coach: Raises the performance bar through coaching, mentoring, and accountability.

  • Track record of leading teams that consistently exceed quota in enterprise solution sales.
  • Experience selling or leading teams in mobility, telecom, SaaS/MDM, IT services, or enterprise hardware industries.
  • Proven success building hunting-focused sales cultures.
